P e d r o (El White)

Pedro Garcia Sanchez (22) studies music in Guantánamo. The band plays every afternoon in his mother’s house (when it doesn’t rain).
About his life:
I feel that time passes quickly in my life, quickly and well. Everything is going well, but something from the past always remains, you see?
You always survive. Always, because if you don’t do it with the group, you try to do it outside, you see? Or you come up with something. There’s always a way... to get money.
His beloved girlfriend:
My relationship with my girlfriend was strange, at first her parents didn’t like me, then my family didn’t like her, we went through a lot.
We spent nine days on the streets... then we broke up.
It was too hard, I didn’t have enough money to sustain her, because I got married young.
Cuban men:
Most men, because of their Latin gender, are male chauvinists. There’s always betrayal. Always, of mind and body.
They betray because flesh is tempting... It’s something you’re born with and no one can take it away.
Although there are times when men stay with their women, care for them, and try to respect them as long as possible. But things always happen... adventures, to avoid monotony.
